I’ve learned how to break down barriers and talk/express emotions and feelings in a comfortable/easier way.
I’ve learned about showing emotions and body processes through Lego and looking at how to turn emotions to more positive ones.
I’ve learned how to use Lego to create ‘safe spaces’ for children to talk openly.
Really interesting course. They [the children] would love this activity and would really find discussing their creations helpful.
I’ve learned that Lego can be used to explore a range of emotional states and coping strategies.
Really useful for children who find it difficult to express themselves.
I already have children in mind that this would help. Brilliant morning, very useful. Thank you.
I’m excited about using the tools and strategies.
Thank you for an eye-opener training!
I learned that Lego is not just about building the models in the book. There is much more to it. Scope is much wider than I thought.
Delivered brilliantly, thoroughly enjoyed the course.
The part I found most useful was the mood monster. Using Lego to actually build a feeling.
What I found most useful were the practical parts – I didn’t feel rushed/bombarded with information.
A practical and exciting way to communicate feelings with children. Great, thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you
What you have learned today…
The importance of play and play with a purpose with all fundamental skills; how to develop wellbeing through these activities.
It will help our children engage in co-operative activities and learn how to play and have fun.
Our children will benefit from this project as they will work together and extend their social communication and well-being without realising it.
Reminded of importance of play! (And how to promote/argue for it.)
A fun way for children to engage with the learning.
I know I will find all of the resource very useful and I am looking forward to trying out the ideas.
How do you feel your children would benefit …?
They will feel a sense of inclusion, being important and knowing they are going to have fun.
An important reminder about the importance of play.
I’m inspired; thank you for a great morning.
All of it was brilliant. Great fun!
Fun, light hearted. Made you stop and think.
A really good morning – enjoyed by all. Great tasks, lots of good discussion, lots of laughs.
Fun, interactive, great opportunity to work/play with people we don’t see often.
Fun, good for team building. It was a really good session, time flew.
Brought everyone together. Good to have time to spend with colleagues that’s relaxed.
Fun, encouraged interaction and enabled creativity.
Fun to spend time with lovely people and be allowed to be the creative people we so obviously are!
